About me
I'm a music photographer based on the London/Kent borders. I work directly with bands and also provide coverage for all kinds of events from pub gigs to festivals.
My photos have been used in cd artwork (The Wildhearts, GMT, Shush, Trashtown Thrillers), on t-shirts, posters, print and web publications (including Classic Rock, Kerrang!, Spin, Alternative Magazine, Play Music, London Tourdates), and numerous band websites.
As a lifelong music fan who's been to literally thousands of gigs (mostly rock and metal) over the last twenty years or so, I couldn't ask for anything better than trying to capture the feeling I get watching a great band, in pictures. What started as a passing interest became more serious in 2004 when I bought my first DSLR and decided to learn more about photography - since then I've taken every opportunity open to me to photograph bands, working around my day job and getting out to as many gigs as I can.
I am a contributor for Pure Rawk, Bubblegum Slut, festivalphoto.net and PushToFire.com and have recently signed up with www.musicpictures.com (where selected photos can be purchased for editorial use).
Bandsonstage.co.uk was set up to share my live music photography with music fans around the world, and to reach out to bands and performers looking for a friendly, no-fuss service for live or promo photos. This website has been online since June 2006. I hope you enjoy what you find here!
Please get in touch if you need photos of your band on stage or new promotional shots.
